I am looking for 100 women in menopause to participate in a final trial to test the efficacy of an ALL NATURAL nutritional supplement.

The first 100 volunteers receive a 60-day supply of a brand new, all natural Chinese herbal supplement proven to alleviate the symptoms of menopause – by stimulating your body’s own production of estrogen - naturally - without the risk of hormone replacement therapy.

This is the final focus group study before shooting an infomercial and we simply ask that volunteers take two supplements with each meal for 60-days and complete a quick questionnaire (attached) via e-mail before you begin and again as 30- and 60-day check-ins. To volunteer: contact Heather@HeatherHale.com.

BACKGROUND: The investor in the product prudently wants to do his own private due diligence above and beyond the normal clinical trials to triple-blind test the products’ efficacy before proceeding with the infomercial.

· The product is Estrofil.
· The firm is Biotx.
· It is manufactured by the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The ingredients are all natural and have been used in Chinese herbal medicine for this purpose for over a thousand years:

· Baked licorice
· Tortoise shell
· Rehmannia, cooked
· Dioscorea
· Cornus
· Hoelen
· Lycium
· Ligustrum
· Epimedium

Zero side effects have been reported by any of the previous trials’ participants. This is NOT hormone replacement therapy.

Volunteers may participate COMPLETELY ANONYMOUSLY (I'm the only one who will know who's who and I'll identify everyone by numbers only). You MAY participate from long distance easily (you will just have to cover any individual postal expenses). You MAY each CHOOSE to participate in the trial ONLY and/or to participate in the infomercial as well (should you choose to give us a testimonial or endorsement).

HOW IT WORKS: Each volunteer will be e-mailed a pre-trial questionnaire to get a baseline on a broad range of menopausal symptoms. If you live in the LA area, I can meet you to give you a 60-DAY SUPPLY of the supplements (or, if you’re willing to cover postage, I can mail them to you wherever you are). You simply take a couple of the supplements with each meal and report back (on essentially that same questionnaire via e-mail) at the 30- and 60-day marks - and give us your feedback on (hopefully) how much it's improved your quality of life! That's the investor’s goal, of course. If this test doesn't prove its efficacy, we won’t proceed with the product.

Fantastic, thanks for posting here Heather. I would be willing to participate, but my symptoms are fairly mild, so I'm not sure if I would be the best candidate. I will, however, send out your request to my mailing list in the near future. You should easily be able to get 100 people from that list.

Oh my goodness, how excited I am to be a participant in this study. I am 73 years old and I have a hotflash every hour, and have for almost 3 years. When I was 54, I was working and always been in excellent health, when I experienced the most severe hotflashes. I was not about to go on any hormone replacement therapy, but alas I had to succumb to them because I was not getting any sleep, waking up every hour and at work I had to stand up each hour and fan myself because they were so severe. Well you can imagine the inconvenience and embarrassment I had to endure because the sweating that they left me with each hour.

So....three years ago I told my gynecologist, I no longer want the hormones and have since struggled with these hotflashes ever since. I must also add that I have tried many "natural" products and nothing has worked. I am prepared to try anything that is natural, especially since at this stage in my life, why is it lasting so long and what is it all about.

Thank you

I'm 62 yrs old and I have been on replacement therapy for years. I am now on the estrogen patch. I have a 6 week supply remaining and am considering discontinuing them once they are out. I STILL have hot flashes at night so I am looking at something to help, other than my trusty little fan that I have on my nightstand.

Hi Heather, My name is Rita, and I am currently taking premarin, but worry about the side effects plus it is expensive for me. I am 47, and am going through so much I feel I'm losing my mind. I have hot flashes 24/7 can't sleep and my flashes are every 15 to 30 minutes apart. I had a hysterectomy at age 32. No one understands what I'm going through...no support from my family. I cry all the time. I also am taking cymbalta for the depression. I would be interested in your trial offer.

I am 66, went through the menapausal phase a dozen years ago, and December 2006, went for checkup for bladder incontinence difficulties, and to my surprise and shock, was told I had ovarian cancer. Both were removed posthaste, but since then, I've been tortured again and plagued by menapausal symptoms all over again. This time, with a vengence. I have constant hotflashes, night and day, spending a good share of time, taking off clothes, and putting them back on, to relieve symtoms of chills, and hot flashes. Depression, and memory difficulties have worsened since my surgery. The surgeon assured me my old ovaries were not functioning, but I am living proof they were doing something, ever so slight, because my emotional balance is in upheaval worse than the first go-around, so I'm wondering if there is any help or hope for me? Will your natural concoction help it? I'd like to give it a try. lm

Heather, have you received your hundred volunteers for the study? I responded or replied earlier (see Lillian Minchey's submission) but may have responded to the wrote article, once I submitted it, and might have put it in the wrong category or responded to someone's post. Which isn't uncommon since my mind stays confused more than I would desire, seriously. lm

Hi everyone - thanks to all who responded to Heather's request. Unfortunately it seems like she hasn't checked backin since she made it. I would contact her except she signed in anonymously without an email. We'll have to wait until she surfaces again. Hopefully soon. Sorry.

Ladies, I'm sorry Heather has not checked back in. I keep hoping she'll show her face again and we can get this rolling. In the meantime, we wait. Maybe it's one of those memory things. :-)

Hi everyone. My name is Chris. I'm 52 and have been suffering from hot flashes and night sweats and unpredictable mood swings for 4 years now. Sometimes it would get to the point that I would have to take prescriptions sleeping pills for a week to regulate my sleep after getting only 2-3 hours of sleep a night due to night sweats every hour on the hour. Now I may get up to 3 hours of constant sleep a night. My biggest problem is any kind on hormone therapy as I suffer from estrogen triggered migraines. So although this has been a nightmare for me, not having nearly as many debilitaing migraines has actually been a blessing. I recently tried (foolinsh me) a very low dose estrogen .3 cut in half and taken every other night along with the prometrium I have been on (which is what got me up to 3 hours of rest) Unfortunately even that low dose gave me a migraine the whole time I was on it. So I stopped after 4 days. I have tried Black cohosh and soy and a product Effisoy. I have also tried flush diet changes to rid my body of toxins hoping that would help. The hot flashed and night sweats remain. My gyn doesn't seem to have any more answers but to suggest antidepresants. No thanks to that one. the less chemicals the better. Any suggestions??? I need sleep more than anything else.
Thanks Chris

Chris- did you see the information on estrogen pellets provided by another member. Check out our blog, you might find something helpful there. Go to http://www.EverythingMenopause.com and click on the blog link. Try not stimulating the body with things like caffeine for awhile and see if that helps.

I was wondering if anyone has tried the product Vibrel. It is over the counter and is suppossed to help you self lubricate. I just saw it at my local Walgreens and was going to give it a try. I havent really liked some of the other products as I find them to be a bit "messy"

any thougts.
