hello, i would like to share my experiences concerning the changes my body is currently going through. I am two years and ahalf into perimenopause. the hormone change has affected my nervous system and seven months ago i experienced a crisis with periodical shakes in my right arm, anxiety, sleepless nights, hot and cold flushes and various other symptoms more, mentioned in the famous list of 35s by cathy taylor. i have a rather stressful job and not beeing able to sleep means migrain and migrain means strong pills. the doctor put me on an antidepressant drug to overcome this period. i felt ok the symptoms subsided considerably but takeing this kind of drug for a longer period, as suggested by my gyn, was not what i wanted. i was looking for alternatives that had a quick result record, since i can not afford to be "out" of circulation for a long period trying out different medications. Now i have found a homeopathic medicine called SEDATIF PC from the BOIRON laboratory and it seems to work. i am completely off the antidepressant medication, get a fairly good nights rest and have fewer and less intense hot flushes. i do meditation and breathing exercises everytime a feel tense, which also helps a lot. Maybe i should also mention that i have changed my diet about 4 years ago, although i was never overweight i had an allergy test done. No cowmilk, eggs, meat, cereals (only maiz and oats) and hardly any red meat anymore.Don´t smoke and don´t drink. i am taking natural vitamin supplements (B complex), calcium and magnesium and spirulina.
has anybodyelse expierenced a similar situation?
